TED Talk Favorite #8

So completely enjoyed this one. I couldn’t help but giggle at all his jokes – “Eat, Pray, Love” – BAHAHA.

Remembering Robin Williams

A video that just brought tears to my eyes.

TED Talk Favorite #7

One of the most inspiring TED videos I’ve ever seen while yet being incredibly funny and exciting.

I can, can. And so can, can you.

TED Talk Favorite #6

This is for all the book-lovers out there (including myself obviously).

In this talk, Chip Kidd humorously shows the world how important book designing is and how powerful it can be. Because as much as we’re told “Don’t judge a book by its cover,” we all do it anyways.

The best part of this TED talk, besides all the humor, is Charlie Todd’s last comment on the point of improv: there is none.

In conclusion to his presentation on The Shared Experience of Absurdity, he says:

“There doesn’t have to be a point. We don’t need a reason. As long as it’s fun and it seems like it’s going to be a funny idea and it seems like the people who witness it will also have a fun time, then that’s enough for us. And I think as adults we need to learn that there’s no right or wrong way to play. Thank you very much.”

There is no right or wrong way to play guys. Let’s remember that.

And this is one of my absolute favorites!

Why?

Because I was so mesmerized. And just couldn’t believe the talent this guy has. It also posed several questions in my mind, the most important being “If you could control someone’s attention what would you do with it?”

That’s very hard to answer because there are all sorts of things you can do with that.

This TED talk is riveting and also very humorous. Did you see it? Are you observant?

It’s fun and definitely makes you smile.

Lots of cheers for Apollo Robbins, professional pick-pocket, who teaches everyone that the art of misdirection is more than what is conceived in movies and tv shows.

Here’s another one guys. Remember, I did warn you all.

This one is a favorite because it involves thumb wrestling. And just so y’all know, I’m a Legendary Grand Master.
